About Ikram
An independent entity and non-profit arm of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, under the supervision of the National Center for the Development of the Non-Profit Sector, aiming to lead the sector in the field of honoring the deceased. Established by ministerial decree dated 14/80/1442 AH, permit number (233).
The Ikram strategy is to contribute to and support the development of the deceased’s journey through its five stages, from the moment of death, through transportation, preparation, and burial, to the stage of consoling and supporting the bereaved family, in integration with relevant authorities, with the aim of providing services.

Objectives Of the organization
An independent entity and non-profit arm of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing concerned with the affairs of honoring the deceased, established by ministerial decree dated 14/80/1442 AH, permit number (233), to regulate charitable work in the field of honoring the deceased, in cooperation with relevant governmental, private, and non-profit entities, to create a sustainable development system for improving and raising the level of services for honoring the deceased.

The organization’s strategy is to contribute to the development of the system for honoring the deceased in order to provide the best services in an integrated manner with the various relevant parties in the journey of the deceased from the moment of death until burial, and what concerns the relatives of the deceased. Building the organization’s strategic framework aims to develop the organization’s vision, mission and strategic goals, in addition to the key indicators to measure those services and identify the initiatives that the organization will work on during the next strategic period.
