Administrative policies

Basic Regulations of the Foundation for Honoring the Dead

The basic regulations of the Ikram Al-Mawta Foundation, licensed under number: (233) dated: 14/8/1442 AH

The guidelines aim to identify any actions or practices related to the organization that violate the regulations, rules, and procedures followed, or that raise suspicion regarding financial statements, internal control systems, or other matters. They also aim to encourage everyone working for the organization to report any risks or violations and to assure them that doing so is safe, acceptable, and does not involve any risk.

The rules and regulations of the committees emanating from the Board of Trustees, namely the Executive Committee, the Audit Committee, the Nominations and Remuneration Committee, the Governance and Risk Committee, and the Sharia Committee, with emphasis that the completion of the formation of these committees is subject to the Board’s discretion in terms of the need for them, and in accordance with the expansion of the institution and the growth of its business. The Board may assign a specific committee to the tasks of another committee until it is formed according to what the Board sees fit.

The Foundation for Honoring the Deceased was established by ministerial decree dated 14/8/1442 AH (License No. 233) as a leading, independent, non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the deceased. It operates within an institutional framework to enhance the organization of charitable work in this field, collaborating and partnering with relevant governmental, private, and non-profit entities. The Foundation aims to create a sustainable development system to improve and elevate the quality of services provided for the deceased. Its objectives include strengthening social cohesion and the spirit of human solidarity, and alleviating the burdens on the bereaved.

The members of the council include members of the board of trustees or its subcommittees.
The organization’s leadership: This includes the CEO, his assistants, and department managers. And those of similar rank among the senior executives in the organization.
The organization’s employees: This includes all employees of the organization who work full-time or part-time. Those who are not senior executives.
The organization’s collaborators: Members of advisory committees related to grants or financial contracts of the institution, This also includes consultants contracted to provide advice in specific areas or projects.


The Document Retention and Destruction Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) of the Ikram Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the “Foundation”) provides guidelines that the Foundation must follow in managing, preserving, and destroying the Foundation’s documents. This policy ensures the efficient preservation and management of the organization’s documents in a manner that safeguards the organization’s rights and interests and complies with regulations and bylaws.

The policy of preventing money laundering and terrorist financing crimes is one of the fundamental pillars adopted by the institution in the field of financial control in accordance with the Saudi Anti-Money Laundering Law issued by Royal Decree No. M/31 dated 11/5/1433 AH, and its executive regulations and all subsequent amendments to be consistent with this policy.

Out of concern for providing the best levels of service, the Ikram Al-Mawta Charitable Foundation, hereinafter referred to as “Ikram Foundation”, Believing in the importance and confidentiality of data, This includes the confidentiality and privacy of user data and entered data. The Ikram Foundation is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of this data. It will only be disclosed in accordance with the controls specified and stipulated in Section 4 (Use and Disclosure). Please note that the privacy and confidentiality of information described below are an integral part of the site’s terms of use.


The Data Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) requires everyone working for the Ikram Charitable Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the “Foundation”) to maintain the privacy of donor, contributor, volunteer, and beneficiary data and not to share it with anyone except within a very narrow scope as clarified by this Policy. The Policy also requires the use of private data for the purposes of the Foundation only and as required by the interest.

These are the outputs of human ingenuity, which include, but are not limited to, inventions. Trademarks, copyrights, graphics, designs, models, specifications, concepts, processes, technologies Databases, trade names, and more.

This regulation was issued in implementation of the provisions of paragraph (1) of Article (Twelve) of the Labor Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/51) dated 23/8/1426 AH, amended by Royal Decree No. (M/24) dated 12/5/1434 AH, and amended by Royal Decree
