Early intervention programs are standardized international programs (Help, BOP, Portage, the Look and Learn program of the British organization, the Patricia program for Down syndrome), an electronic program through the Yanmu platform, and the Independence Skills program of the American Organization for the Intellectually Disabled.
A non-governmental day care centre in Dammam city, established in 2004 under the supervision of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (licence No. 133). The Centre is responsible for providing services to people with Down’s syndrome, receiving males from 2 to 12 years of age, and females from 2 to 45 years of age.
